Exam objectives

1. Vault deployment and core operations
- Initialize, unseal, and verify cluster health
- Navigate the HTTP API and CLI for routine operations
- Apply configuration suitable for the exam lab topology

2. Policies and access control
- Author least-privilege policies for personas in the scenario
- Map identities to paths and capabilities correctly
- Troubleshoot denied requests using audit-oriented reasoning

3. Secrets engines and credentials
- Enable and configure engines required by the blueprint (e.g. KV, database, PKI as specified)
- Issue, rotate, and revoke secrets according to task requirements
- Integrate applications using issued credentials where prompted

4. Authentication and operations
- Configure auth methods appropriate to the scenario
- Respond to operational incidents such as seal status or policy misconfiguration
- Validate end-state with CLI and API checks
